This website presents Capanna del Vale and lets you check availability on WhatsApp. Here we explain, plainly, which data passes through the site, what it is used for and how you exercise your rights under the Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados (LGPD, Brazil's data protection law, Law No. 13.709/2018).

1. Who is responsible

Capanna del Vale, an inn at Rua Via Trento, 1122, Bento Gonçalves/RS, postcode 95711-000, run by Camila and Daniel, is responsible (the controller) for the data processed through this site. Contact for privacy matters: WhatsApp +55 54 99999-3293.

2. Which data passes through the site

• Availability request: the name, WhatsApp number, check-in and check-out dates and the cabin (optional) you fill in on the form.
• Technical access records: like any website, the server automatically records technical data about visits (IP address, date and time, page visited and browser type).

The form data is not sent to our server and is not stored by the site. It stays in your browser and is used only to compose the message that opens in WhatsApp. Your request only reaches the host if you send that message inside WhatsApp.

3. What we use it for, and the legal basis

• Replying to your request, confirming dates and arranging the booking: preliminary steps of a contract, at your request (art. 7, V, of the LGPD).
• Technical records: keeping the site secure and running (legitimate interest, art. 7, IX) and meeting legal obligations, such as those of the Marco Civil da Internet, the Brazilian internet act (art. 7, II).

We do not sell data, we do not use your data for advertising and we do not send messages unless you have started the conversation.

4. Third-party services

• WhatsApp (Meta): the conversation happens on WhatsApp and follows the privacy policy of the app itself.
• Google Maps: the map in the Location section is loaded from Google when you reach it. Google may collect browsing data under its own privacy policy.

Photos, videos and fonts are served by our own server, with no third-party services.

5. Cookies

This site uses no cookies of its own and no analytics, tracking or advertising tools. That is why there is no cookie banner. Only the Google map, once loaded, may use Google's own cookies.

6. How long we keep it

The site does not store the form data. Booking conversations stay in the host's WhatsApp for as long as needed to assist you and to meet legal obligations. Technical access records are kept for a limited time and then deleted, subject to the period required by law.

7. Your rights

Under the LGPD (art. 18), you may ask at any time for:

• confirmation that we process your data, and access to it;
• correction of incomplete, inaccurate or outdated data;
• anonymization, blocking or deletion of data that is unnecessary or processed unlawfully;
• portability, and information about who the data has been shared with;
• deletion of data processed with your consent, and withdrawal of that consent.

To exercise your rights, talk to the host on WhatsApp +55 54 99999-3293. You may also file a complaint with the Autoridade Nacional de Proteção de Dados (ANPD), the Brazilian data protection authority.

8. Security

The site runs only over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and has no login area and no visitor database.
